When you register , you select your language of your choice and the genre of music you prefer (according to the company, right now they have a lot of rap and hip hop music that needs to be transcribed)
How it Works?
When you register an account with Welocalize you’ll fill out your personal profile and choose the genres of your choice in other words the music you love the most. You’ll download or install and run the Welocalize app on your Mac device (for Mac users only) and connect it with ITunes.
You’ll then be given a song choice on the genres of music you chose. After you have your song You’ll then type the lyrics of the song word to word into the Welocalize app while listening.
Requirements To Do The Work?
To perform this job successfully, as an individual you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
You must be able to speak English fluently
You must be able to deliver 50 transcribed songs per week minimum
Strong individual independent work skills
You must be able to follow instructions and project conventions
You must understand song lyrics and jargon in required language and more
How much can you earn with Welocalize?
The pay is $4 per transcribed song. The minimum amount freelancer is earning $16-$20 per hour.So you're probably not going to be able to quit your day job with it, but it could certainly be a fun way to make some pocket money here and there.
You’re free to work on as plenty songs as you like, for as long as you like, whenever you love . This work is completely flexible and there are no minimums.
They have hundreds of songs to choose from in several different languages.You’ll be able to get paid once weekly via HyperWallet. (If you’re not used to Hyper Wallet you’ll be sent instructions upon registering with Welocalize.)
